Kemal Becirevic
is a FujiFilm Ambassador and X-Photographer.
He works as a graphic designer at Studio MRAK in Sarajevo, specializing in visual identity, publication, and product packaging design. He has been professionally engaged in photography since 2009. Kemal is particularly recognized for his night landscapes — he was a pioneer in photographing the Milky Way over Bosnia and Herzegovina (Furaj.ba). His work focuses on landscapes, urban scenes, and cultural-historical heritage. He has created photographic series such as “Milky Way” and “Searching for Man”, published in Fondek, Don’t Miss, Furaj.ba, and other magazines.
He is the only FujiFilm ambassador from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Kemal is also one of the organizers of the Dark Sky Festival – Visočica, an annual event that gathers photographers and stargazers on Mount Visočica, usually held in late July or early August.
He participates in projects such as “Artists for Balkan Rivers”, advocating for the preservation of biodiversity and river ecosystems (balkanrivers.net).
Why is he special?
A blend of traditional and modern: his background in graphic design and visual identity gives him a unique approach to photography. He was the first in Bosnia and Herzegovina to present night landscapes — especially Milky Way photography — to the broader public. Kemal actively works to connect art with ecological and social awareness.
If you seek inspiration from a local context, Kemal Bećirević’s photography is an excellent source — whether you need reference material for packaging design, web visuals, or a way to immortalize Bosnia’s nightscapes, he is a reliable creative partner.
